Carleton University Ravens men’s soccer striker Andrew Latty had an outstanding weekend on the pitch, helping his team improve its record to 4-2 and hold on to top spot in the OUA East. On Sunday afternoon, he put on an offensive clinic, notching a hat trick as Carleton shutout the Nipissing University Lakers 4-0 in North Bay, Ont. He now has five goals so far in his rookie season.

Captain of the Carleton University Ravens women’s soccer team, Valerie Hamilton, had a strong weekend on the pitch, leading her team to an important four points. Thanks to her solid defensive effort, the Ravens shut out the No. 10 nationally ranked Laurentian University Lady Vees 1-0 on Saturday and followed with a 1-1 draw with the Nipissing University Lakers on Sunday. Carleton’s record has now improved to 3-3-1 in a tight race in the OUA East.
