Women’s Fastpitch
The Women’s Fastpitch team was formed in 2003. We participate in the Ontario Intercollegiate Women’s Fastpitch Association (OIWFA) against 11 other Ontario University teams. uOttawa, Windsor, Western, Brock, McMaster, Guelph, Laurier, Waterloo, U of T, York and Queen’s. We play a balanced schedule which sees us travel to each university every second year and them travel to us in rotation. 90% of our annual budget, team fees and fundraising go to finance our travel costs. We work hard, enjoy ourselves and get better each year. This year we hope to make the playoffs and deliver rounded students and fully developed young adults to Carleton.
Home Field:
All practices take place at Brewer Park or in the Fieldhouse if it rains. League games are played in Kars.
