Ravens basketball programs to host NCAA schools
The Carleton University Ravens men’s and women’s basketball programs will once again tip off their CIS season with exhibition games against NCAA schools.
The six-time national champion men’s basketball team will take on three NCAA Division I opponents beginning with the New Mexico State Aggies on Friday, August 13 at 7 p.m. The University of Maine Black Bears will visit the Ravens’ Nest on Saturday, August 28 at 1p.m. The Ravens final exhibition game against an NCAA school is set for Saturday, Sept. 4 at 6 p.m. as the team faces the University of Cincinnati Bearcats in the CAN-AM Shootout at Scotiabank Place.
The Ravens women’s team, which is coming off the most successful season in the history of the program, will host two Division I schools. The University of Tennessee at Martin Skyhawks will travel to the Ravens’ Nest on Tuesday, August 17 at 7 p.m. Carleton’s second NCAA opponent is Manhattan College. The Ravens will face the Jaspers on Friday, August 27 at 7 p.m.
