Water Polo Weekend at Carleton.
The Carleton University Ravens Water Polo programs are hosting five universities this weekend. It will be the last regular season games for both the men’s and women’s squads.
The women’s program has a great start on its quest to regain the OUA title. The team is undefeated so far this season with a 5-0 record, having outscored their opponents 75-23 along the way.
The Ravens will look to keep their perfect record intact as they face UofT on November 14 at 4:00 pm. The game should be a good one as it is a rematch of last year’s OUA final in which the Varsity Blues ended Carleton’s two year reign as champions. The Ravens will then play McMaster at 9:00 pm. On November 15, they will play their last regular season game against York at 12:45 pm.
The men’s team is also on a quest to regain the OUA championship as UofT knocked them off their throne last season. Since losing their first game to the Varsity Blues, the team has gone on a six-game winning streak. They will look to keep the streak alive on November 14 when they take on Western at 6:30 pm. On November 15 they face McMaster at 10:15 am and UofT at 3:15 pm.
