The Carleton University Ravens rowing team is set to kick off the 2011-12 season with some great cross-town rivalry at the annual P.D. Ross Memorial Regatta on Saturday, Sept. 17.

The regatta involves a race between the Carleton varsity 8 and the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees varsity 8 on the Rideau Canal between the Bank Street bridge and Pretoria bridge.

The event will begin with an alumni race at 9 a.m. followed by the varsity race at 10 a.m. All are welcome to come out and support the Ravens.
