Macdonald swims “best career times” at CIS National Championships, in Vancouver, BC.
Heather Macdonald, a fourth year Aero Engineering major, from Edson, Alberta swam her best career times, at the 2008 CIS National Championships, in Vancouver, BC. This marks the third time that Macdonald has earned a berth in the CIS National Championships, in her four year career at Carleton University.
Two years ago, at CIS National Championships, Heather’s breast stroke times and places were follows:
50 breast 23rd with a time of 35.44
100 breast 29th with a time of 1:18.72
200 breast 29th with a time of 2:50.11
This year the veteran Raven swimmer acheived the following breast stroke times and places:
50 breast 18th with a time of 34.63
100 breast 21st with a time of 1:15.30
200 breast 21st with a time of 2:44.43
Macdonald intends to return for her fifth and final year of eligibility, at Carleton University, in 2008-09 and looks forward to qualifying for the CIS National Swim Championships a fourth time.
