Ravens compete at OUA Championships
The Carleton University Ravens swim team competed at the 2011 OUA Championships this past weekend in Guelph, Ontario.
Hosted by the Guelph Gryphons, the team sent seven Ravens to this three-day event.
Third-year swimmer, Kaitlin Swales (Vernon, Ont.) saw the best performance for the Ravens. Among other results, Swales finished 11th in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:42.65.
Competing in the 400m medley relay, Swales, Jacqueline Soicher (Fredericton), Jen Kroezen (Acton, Ont.) and MacKenzie Kimm (Ballinafad, Ont.) finished ninth out of 12 teams, with a time of 4:39.42.
Overall, the Ravens finished in 12th place with 46 points.
