Ravens compete in Campbell Division Championships
The Carleton University Ravens swim team participated in the 2010 Campbell Division Championships in Toronto over the weekend.
Competing against six schools, the women finished sixth with 103 points and the men in seventh place with 23 points.
Some of the best Ravens performances came from Kaitlin Swales (Vernon, Ont.), who took ninth in the women’s 100 SC meter breaststroke with a time of 1:20.19, followed directly by Jacqueline Soicher (Fredericton) in 10th place. Swales also had a ninth place finish in the women’s 200 SC meter breaststroke and the women’s 400 SC meter individual medley.
On the men’s side, Andrew Vo (Mississauga, Ont.) took eighth in the men’s 100 SC meter butterfly with a time of 1:01.22 and seventh in the men’s 200 SC meter butterfly, coming in at 2:19.30.
The team will now prepare for the Cornwall Club Meet from December 3-5.
