Three Carleton Ravens Swimmers Qualify for OUA Championship Heats.
OUA Championships at University of Ottawa
Three Carleton University Swimmers Chris Flynn, a first year Industrial Design major from Calgary, Alberta with a time of 24:09, in the Men’s 50 Meter Freestyle race, good for 6th place, Kaitlin Swales, a first year Architect Major from Vernon, Ontario with a time of 5:21.35, in the 400 Meter IM, good for a 12th place and Karli McKinnon, third year Journalism major from Fort Frances, Ontario finished 13th in the 100 meter Butterfly race with a time of 1:08.92, have qualified for the finals in their respective OUA Championship disciplines.
A total of 12 different Ravens Varsity Swimmers swam in 11 different individual races and one Women’s team competed in a relay race, during the first two days of the three-day OUA Championships, hosted by the University of Ottawa.  The Men have 3 team points and the Women 30.5 team points after two days of competition.Â
